Ashton Kutcher And Demi Moore Announce Divorce

How can we put this in a way that is politically correct and socially acceptable when talking about a divorce between Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore?

I don’t know if I even want to bother trying. The fact is that Ashton Kutcher is seeing the mistake of marrying a woman 14 years his senior. It only became more apparent to him since they were first married, when he was 28 and she was 42. In only 5 years of marriage Ashton is seeing the obvious flaws in a 47 year old Demi Moore.

To a man her age, or older, she is still a beautiful, desirable, and sexy woman, but we’re talking about a guy who is now in his early 30′s and surrounded by horny, sex-craving nymphomaniacs in the Hollywood scene. Ashton was a male model and was caught by Demi Moore just as her toned body and looks was beginning it’s decline from super hot to simply hot.

Can Ashton be kept happy and satisfied by Demi in the sack? Not likely and as in any marriage, boredom is setting in – as is the knowledge of every body flaw that comes to a woman approaching 50. Add to the mix those younger woman offering their services to Ashton and it is a formula for disaster. No doubt Ashton is looking ahead to when he is 45 and Demi is knocking down the door of 60. The numbers really take on a new meaning at that level of age difference.

Do I have much sympathy for Demi Moore? None.

She should have been smart enough to look ahead and should have realized that a marriage to Ashton Kutcher would be a brief one, once her age lines appeared more prominently and her ass began to sag. She wanted arm candy and that is what she got.

Do I condone Ashton Kutcher’s behavior? No.

He too, should have been able to realize that while a hot 42 year old can spin like a top and rock your world, it’s going to be a different world when she turns 52. Now that she is 47, she is likely less of a spinner than she was only five years ago. If Ashton wants to stray, he should have the decency to sit Demi down and let her know that he doesn’t see a future. Give her a chance to marry a decent man her own age while she is still a hot prospect for one that also has the sense enough to find a woman that isn’t just out of college.

Every man can tell you that what the world sees when they look at a woman in public is far different from that seen at home, when the makeup is washed off.

Give them both some applause for trying to hold it together for as long as they can. Appearances in public, date nights, tweeting photos of themselves in bed, and even a renewal of wedding vows as they try to convince the public and themselves that everything is fine. The fact is that it isn’t and everyone expected that, eventually, the passage of time and the age difference would catch up with them.

Not that it is unique to an older woman marrying a younger man. It is simply more obvious. Older men in Hollywood marrying women younger than their grown children end up the same way. Hollywood stars are a strange lot. They don’t think rationally and their liberal friends don’t have the balls to tell them they are making a huge mistake. Telling your friend that the woman is too old for you, or the man will leave you when makeup no longer hides your age just isn’t something you do in Hollywood. It’s not in keeping with having an open mind to stupidity.

I’m calling it now.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher will file for divorce before the end of 2011.
