RT.com – The Alternative To Mainstream News

I’ve given up on getting honest news reporting on our American main stream news. I needed an alternative to mainstream news. These mainstream news stations are owned by the corporations who advertise on them. It is the corporations that controls the content we see on ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, Fox, and all the rest that depend on advertising revenue.

The American populace is subjected to endless drivel about a movie star in trouble with the law, anything Michael Jackson related, and government fed BS that they are told can be allowed. There is no investigative journalism, or even opinions that go against the grain of what government and corporations want us to see.

Corporate sponsored news is exactly that – corporate controlled news.

Which is why I now view alternative news that is not beholden to corporate sponsorship.

Since I began viewing RT.com television it’s opened my eyes to things I only suspected, but couldn’t be verified within the U.S. I even saw news that our U.S. stations blacked out and failed to report until it was so overwhelming that it couldn’t possibly be ignored.

Occupy Wall Street is a prime example. For almost 2 weeks Occupy Wall Street received no U.S. coverage. However, RT.com television had broadcast news and video about the movement from day 1. They covered the police brutality of the use of batons and pepper spray against 5 women who were peaceful demonstrators corralled by plastic netting. They reported on the non-reporting of our mainstream news media.

They had the time for such reports because they didn’t waste time on fluff stories about rescued kittens, or abandoned puppies.

If you truly want to get your head out of the sand and get an alternative view of world events, including the economy, wars, social upheaval, and other serious news, you need to start viewing alternative news broadcasts.

Only then will you be able to make informed decisions about what is happening around you. You will also be shocked at what you aren’t being told.

How is this possible? Because RT does not have any paid advertising and answers to no corporations for anything they broadcast. They are independent and do not need approval for what they let the American public know.
