Sandra Bullock and Jesse James Divorce Finalized

After Sandra Bullock and Jesse James filed papers last week to finalize their divorce it is now official. Both are single.

For men between the ages of 30 – 80, this brings renewed, if not unrealistic, fantasies of being the next Mr. Bullock and treating 45 year old knock-out Sandra right.

Jesse James will likely not disappear from the public. Even before the marriage to Sandra he was well known for being a “bad boy.” He had his own show in which he built custom motorcycles and made numerous appearances on a variety of other shows. He is a successful businessman and has plenty of followers, both adoring females who would be happy to be his arm candy and aspiring young men who would like to find his formula for success.

For anyone who didn’t turn on their television since the beginning of 2010, Sandra and Jesse split due to allegations of Jesse’s infidelity during their marriage. For many of us, the only surprise was that the marriage lasted 5 years. It seemed like the ultimate mismatch. Bad Boy Jesse James marrying Americas sweetheart, Sandra Bullock.

But, Sandra has always had a passion for bad boys. Under that wholesome face, fantastic body, and personality that just reeks innocence – even in Hollywood – must be a desire to experience the wild side through her mate, or she simply believes that she can change the inherent nature of some men who will always look to get some “strange.”

After the initial split, Jesse did come clean about his extra-marital curriculum in an effort to make amends. He also entered a program for sex addiction, which seems to be the latest fad for the rich and famous who have a problem of cheating – enter a “program” that calls the act of cheating an addiction.

As if they can’t help themselves and are totally incapable of saying what most of us have had to say during our lifetime at certain points. “I’m flattered, but No. I’m married and don’t want to jeopardize something great I have.” Sandra must also believe that a program for “sex addiction” is a crock, as well. It didn’t persuade her from proceeding with the divorce. Obviously, Sandra has the self-respect, success, and money to realize that she does not have to accept the behavior from another that cuts so deeply.

Though Jesse James backstabbed Sandra Bullock by his infidelity you have to give the man credit for not making a public spectacle of the entire divorce process. He made no allegations of blaming Sandra to explain why he cheated on her and by all appearances seems to fully accept that it was his fault for the marriage ending.

In fact, both seemed to have taken the high road during the divorce in a unHollywood-like process. News we get is from others “close” to them, but seldom from the two of them. Which only makes Sandra Bullock more lovable and Jesse more respectable as a man who owns up to his mistake in backstabbing the best thing that ever happened to him.
